Our FLETCHER suite is an elegant venue in Moresby Hall for small conferences, seminars , training sessions, board meetings etc. Evening meetings or Corporate Dinners can also be arranged (subject to availability).

FLETCHER will accommodate 10 - 40 people and is available for ½ day, full days or multiple days as required. See Seating Styles below. This peaceful 18th century first floor drawing room was completely renovated in January 2006 to a high standard with top quality décor, ergonomic chairs and 1800 mm tables.

The ORANGERIE is our newest conference and meeting facility providing a light and airy facility for smaller groups / informal gatherings. This stunning venue is suitable for from 2 - 16 attendees. The tariff for the ORANGERIE is £5.00 per person LESS than our FLETCHER facility. All refreshments and meals are served by our staff. There is no minimum attendee requirement for the Orangerie. There is a also a unique 11m wide image of Derwentwater by Val Corbett, the renowned Lakeland photographer which is a wonderful feature. The Orangerie is also available in the evenings for private drinks canapé receptions, meetings and speaker events.

Prices for FLETCHER include the exclusive use of Moresby Hall reception rooms and the Fletcher Suite.
Light refreshments: tea, coffee, fruit juice, iced water, biscuits / home-made cake /fresh fruit, sweeties and mints. Small cans of chilled soft drinks included.
* A bowl of home made soup and assorted sandwiches can be substituted for the cold platter lunch if preferred.
For multiple days – choose any of the above to suit with optional dinner and / or accommodation if required. Special diets or dietary requirements catered for on request.
Accommodation is available from four en-suite rooms in Moresby Hall and two adjacent cottages on a bed and breakfast or full board basis. All meals served in Moresby Hall.
We are pleased to advise on the suitability of our property for guests with mobility, hearing or sight disabilities.
Moresby Hall is a GRADE I listed building so we have a strictly non-smoking policy. Guests may smoke in the grounds or their parked vehicles.
